Cantina Sampietrana, Fiano 2022

Cantina Sampietrana have been making supremely drinkable wines in the heart of Brindisi, the heel of Italy's boot, since 1952. Using sustainable farming practices and hand-harvesting only, they are able to ensure the quality of fruit needed to produce the refined wines for which they're known. Made with 100% organically grown Fiano, this wine is an inviting pale gold in colour with aromatic tropical notes and aromas of pear, lime and melon on the nose. The palate is medium-bodied and silky, with good levels of acidity and a buttery, honeyed note on the finish. A great wine to pair with shellfish and other seafood.
